HOW IT WORKS

Ultracirc ® 5 functions in 1 pump.  The Ultracirc pump incorporates the non-return valve, bib-cock, adjustable temperature control and a 24hr timer (UCT models).  Installed at the furthest extreme from your hot water heater or in the insulated return line, the Ultracirc senses the water temperature. When the water temperature reaches a predetermined minimum it turns on and pumps water slowly from the hot water line back to the water heater, through the dedicated return line until the hot water reaches the pump; at which time the pump switches off. It keeps doing this each time the water cools off during the time period you’ve set. The pump being only 33W, costs only 1 cent to run for 8 hours on a standard 30% duty cycle. The amount of energy is far less than 1 light bulb and you have the pleasure of hot water when you turn on any tap.

Having hot water on tap helps all around the house in many ways. The dishwasher will not need to heat the water. You can fill the jug with hot water and get a cup of coffee quicker and cheaper. This all saves you on your electricity bill by using your cheaper off peak electricity to heat water. On gas it’s even more economical.
